Sr. Packaging Developer & Procurement Buyer

We are seeking a Senior Packaging Developer & Procurement Buyer to lead packaging development and strategic sourcing across our product portfolio. This role is key to ensuring packaging solutions meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, sustainability, and brand excellence.

Working closely with Procurement, Creative, R&D, and supplier partners, you will lead the end-to-end development of primary and secondary packaging, manage strategic supplier relationships, and drive sourcing activities across key packaging categories. You will play a critical role in delivering innovative, cost-effective, and commercially viable packaging solutions while supporting operational excellence and alignment with AMOUAGE's creative vision.

• Serve as a trusted Procurement NPD & Packaging Technical expert
• Act as the primary counterpart for the AMOUAGE Creative team
• Influence and align cross-functional team
• Lead the end-to-end development of primary and secondary packaging (bottles, caps, pumps, decorative elements, folding cartons, rigid boxes)
• Translate creative concepts into industrialized solutions, ensuring:
• Technical feasibility
• Quality and regulatory compliance
• Define technical specifications, drawings, tolerances, and material selection
• Validate packaging through:
• Prototyping and mock-ups
• Lab testing (compatibility, drop tests, transport simulation, aging)
• Ensure compliance with cosmetic regulations and packaging standards (e.g., REACH, recyclability guidelines).

Take the lead on sourcing packaging categories:

• Supplier scouting (Europe, Asia, global markets)
• RFQ
• Cost breakdown analysis and benchmarking
• Drive supplier negotiations (pricing, MOQs, tooling, lead times, payment terms)
• Manage supplier selection and onboarding, including audits and qualification processes
• Build and maintain a preferred supplier panel aligned with innovation and sustainability goals

• Create Clear Procurement & R&D processes and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policies.

• Deep understanding of Packaging technologies (Plastic & metal, delivery system, Printed etc..) specifically for the cosmetic industry
• Demonstrated ability to manage tendering, recommendation
• Strong experience in vendor sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding
  , both locally and internationally suppliers
• Ability to balance cost-efficiency with brand integrity
  , particularly in a luxury fine fragrance environment
• Minimum +5 years as packaging developer/procurement experience
  , preferably in a luxury beauty environment
• Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of retail architecture and creative merchandising execution
• Fluency in English is required.
