About the RoleWe are looking for an exceptionally skilled Senior Luxury Watch Assembler / Watchmaker to join a premium luxury watchmaking operation in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have 12-20 years of hands-on experience in luxury Swiss watchmaking
, with strong expertise in precision assembly, movement handling, servicing and quality inspection of high-end mechanical timepieces.
The candidate should demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship, patience, manual dexterity and an uncompromising eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and regulate high-end luxury mechanical and automatic watches to exceptional quality standards.
- Perform complete movement assembly, component fitting, lubrication and adjustment.
- Handle delicate and complicated mechanical movements with extreme precision.
- Conduct disassembly, cleaning, inspection, reassembly and functional testing.
- Perform timing, accuracy and amplitude checks and make necessary adjustments.
- Inspect movements and components for defects, wear and finishing quality.
- Ensure correct fitting of hands, dials, cases, crowns, bracelets and other components.
- Conduct final quality control and ensure watches meet brand-level finishing and performance standards.
- Identify technical issues and rectify assembly or movement-related problems.
- Maintain a clean, organized and controlled watchmaking workstation.
- Work with specialized watchmaking tools, measuring instruments and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and technical observations.
- Support the development and mentoring of junior watchmakers/assemblers where required.
Experience working with prestigious Swiss luxury watch brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille, Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Cartier, Omega, IWC, Breguet, Blancpain, Hublot, Piaget or equivalent will be highly valued.
Desired Candidate Profile- 12-20 years of professional watchmaking / watch assembly experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with luxury mechanical and automatic watches
. - Proven expertise in movement assembly and precision watchmaking.
- Experience with complicated movements will be an advantage.
- Swiss watchmaking training, WOSTEP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Brand certification/accreditation from a reputed luxury watch manufacturer is an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Strong understanding of horological tools, movements and precision instruments.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining extremely high quality standards.
- Previous experience with a luxury watch manufacturer, authorized service centre or high-end watchmaking workshop preferred.
