Operating Room Nurse

State Diploma of Nursing with a specialization in the operating room or significant experience in the field.

The Operating Room Nurse (Scrub Nurse) plays a key role in the preparation and smooth execution of surgical procedures. They are responsible for managing instruments and necessary equipment while strictly adhering to hygiene and safety protocols. Working closely with the surgical team and operating room staff, they contribute to patient care before, during, and after the operation.

Main responsibilities :

Prepare the operating room before each procedure, ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are available and compliant.

Actively participate in patient installation, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Assist the surgeon by anticipating their needs and handling instruments precisely and efficiently.

Ensure compliance with sterilization protocols and aseptic techniques.

Maintain traceability of the equipment used and help manage inventory.

Contribute to the training and support of new team members.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
