CERN’s Vacuum, Surfaces and Coatings (VSC) Group, within the Technology (TE) Department, seeks a researcher for the Surface Coating and Chemistry (SCC) section. You will develop coating systems and thin-film materials for SRF cavities, using HiPIMS and plasma-based surface treatments, with ample opportunities to engage in advanced diagnostics and materials characterisation.
Hybrid work arrangement, 24-month contract with potential extension, and a competitive CERN stipend.
