Description et objectifs :

The Synthesis department within the R&D division of dsm-Firmenich is offering a 6-month industrial placement position from March 2027 onwards within their Geneva laboratories. The student will work in either new synthetic ingredients discovery, new synthetic methodologies, or process research in the area of Fragrances.

The minimal requirements for this position are a good knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry (GC, NMR, MS) and some experience in basic organic synthesis techniques (reaction set-up, work-up, chromatography, distillations, crystallization).
