The Gabelica group at the University of Geneva is seeking a PhD candidate (exceptional postdoctoral candidates will also be considered) to work on Structural Mass Spectrometry of Oligonucleotides and Their Therapeutic Applications. The project aims to advance our understanding of oligonucleotide folding and higher-order structures while developing new fragmentation strategies for sequence and structural characterization. Particular emphasis will be placed on oligonucleotide therapeutics, a rapidly growing area of biomedical research and drug development.
We are looking for candidates with backgrounds in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, pharmaceutical sciences, or related disciplines, and a strong interest in molecular structure, biomolecular folding, and mass spectrometry.
