Based at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva
, within our two restaurants: SACHI and Ottolenghi, the Sommelier Junior manages the wine cellar for Ottolenghi
, as well as for the beverage service. The Sommelier Junior reports directly to the Chef Sommelier
.
- Manage wine cellar stocks and daily wine selection
- Oversee beverage sales control and inventory
- Advise guests on wine pairings and beverage choices
- Deliver high-quality, efficient, and personalized wine service
- Contribute to upselling and beverage revenue growth
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Ensure accurate billing and stock control
- Participate in monthly inventories with Cost Control
- Passion for wine and service excellence
- Strong sense of hospitality, aligned with 5-star luxury standards
- Attention to detail and precision in service and stock management
