MAIN PURPOSE OFTHE ROLE
You will provide, lead, and supervise a variety of activities within the Extracurricular Department. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating communication with the department team as well as with CDL parents whose children attend the programs.
As an Activity Leader, you will work every day from 3:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., and from 12:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. Working hours may be adjusted slightly depending on operational needs.
The position is to be filled as soon as possible. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, in the order in which they are received.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Leading sports activities
- Supervising and coordinating activities with external providers - on and off-campus
- Maintaining and updating communication, reacting promptly in emergencies
- Maintaining and updating administrative tool.
- Language: fluent both in English and French
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to engage in an empathetic, yet effective manner
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Results-oriented
- Proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Optional:
Familiarity with the iSams platform
It is important that the post holder is always aware of Child Protection guidelines and observes a professional distance from students whilst still developing effective working and caring relationships. You understand and embrace the importance of diversity and inclusion and stand against discrimination in any form. Background investigations and reference checks for the past ten years will be conducted during the selection process.
