Frontend Engineer – Meet Team

As a Frontend Engineer in Proton’s Meet team, you will build intuitive, performant, and secure user experiences for our encrypted video call platform. You will develop and maintain user-facing features, ensuring seamless interactions, responsiveness, and high‑quality UI across devices. Working closely with backend, design, and other teams, you will deliver reliable, user‑centric features while advocating for clean, maintainable code and strong frontend architecture.

• Developing and maintaining user-facing features in React and Rust
• Ensuring performance, accessibility, and rapid feature delivery
• Collaborating with backend, design, and other teams to deliver high‑quality UI across devices
• Advocating for clean, maintainable code and strong frontend architecture

• Extensive experience with React, developing performant and reusable components
• Proficiency with Type Script or another typed language
• Experience leading large and complex projects as a front engineer
• Bonus: experience with agentic AI
• Bonus: experience in audio/video app, WebRTC and Messaging Layer Security
