Job Overview
As a Standard Application Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your expertise will be utilized to perform comprehensive testing, identify defects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes. Working closely with development teams, you will help deliver high‑quality software solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities- Conduct manual integration, functional, and user acceptance tests to ensure software meets requirements.
- Implement automated tests using tools like Playwright, Rest Assured, and Selenium, integrating them into the CICD process.
- Perform load and non‑functional testing to evaluate software performance and stability.
- Prepare detailed test documentation, results, and reports, ensuring accurate defect analysis.
- Build regression test cases for both manual and automated testing, maintaining test coverage.
- Assist in reviewing and transforming business requirements into test scenarios and cases.
- Recommend process optimizations for testing and support the implementation of improvements.
- Follow MIS development practices, utilizing JIRA for activity tracking and collaboration.
- Collaborate effectively with development teams and other testers in a cooperative environment.
- 6‑10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Playwright, Rest Assured, Selenium, and Cucumber.
- Experience in preparing test cases, designing test plans, and generating comprehensive test reports.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies.
- Knowledge of JSON, XML, SQL, Java, JUnit, OAuth2, and other relevant technologies.
- Familiarity with CICD processes and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and qTest.
- Ability to work collaboratively with development teams and provide constructive feedback.
- Desirable:
Experience with legacy systems and data reconciliation. - Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
