Cloud Data Engineer

We are recruiting a French speaking Data engineer for one of our customers in Geneva, please apply if your skills are aligned with below job description:

At least 5 years of professional experience in designing, building and operating cloud‑based data solutions.

• Proven hands‑on experience with:
• Data processing:
  Spark / PySpark, DuckDB, Python.
• Cloud services: AWS (e.g. Glue, S3, Lambda, EMR) or another major cloud provider.
• Data management: open table formats (e.g. Apache Iceberg) and data lake / data warehouse architectures.
• Development & lifecycle tools:
  Git, CI/CD (e.g. Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions), infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, Cloud Formation), schema/versioning tools (e.g. Liquibase), and Dev Ops/Data Ops practices.
• Experience with streaming and messaging technologies (e.g. Kafka, Kinesis, SNS/SQS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with FIX and trading‑related data models would be a strong advantage.
• Keen interest in the trading and financial markets.
