Our delivery team has many years’ experience delivering complex Capital Markets IT transformation programs to the world’s leading financial institutions. We are recognized by Murex as the most experienced practitioners for designing and delivering Murex solutions. Most of our team have a detailed Murex background (10 years +) and have occupied senior positions in the Murex vendor company before joining Fenixys.

The team atmosphere is highly collaborative with clean communications and zero politics.

Context

Fenixys are assisting with a long-term re-platforming initiative to migrate Trading and Treasury activities to MX.3 in phased rollouts covering Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, and part of Finance. We are seeking a seasoned Murex Technical Lead to drive technical design, interface strategy, and hands-on development throughout the program. The role is based in Geneva within a small, dynamic team and will collaborate closely with the vendor to ensure a robust, scalable implementation.

Role

Purpose

As the Murex Technical Lead, you will serve as the on-site technical authority for MX.3, owning interface specifications, leading technical design, and reviewing code. You will be instrumental in the integration phases ahead and will contribute directly through hands-on development across key Murex technical modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and contribute to the technical design for the MX.3 re-platforming program.
  • Act as the on-site Murex technical authority in close collaboration with the vendor.
  • Write clear, maintainable interface specifications aligned with target architecture.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices and standards.
  • Perform hands-on developments across Murex technical modules (see below).
  • Build and deploy interfaces around Murex; leverage out-of-the-box interfaces where appropriate.
  • Support phased rollouts across FO, MO, BO, Risk and part of Finance.

  • Senior, hands-on technologist with deep Murex technical expertise.
  • Comfortable operating as a technical leader in a small, agile team.
  • Strong background in building and deploying Murex interfaces, including out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Able to adapt responsibilities to personal strengths while covering core role expectations.
  • Technical team leadership
  • Collaboration skills to interact with all the bank stakeholders

  • Geneva-based, working closely with internal stakeholders and the Murex vendor.
  • Role includes leadership within the team and hands-on delivery responsibilities.
