We are looking for a Senior Integration Consultant to join our consulting practice and support strategic data and integration initiatives for clients operating in highly regulated environments, particularly within the banking and financial services sector
.

The consultant will help organizations design, implement and evolve modern integration and data ecosystems that enable secure, scalable and efficient information exchange across business applications, data platforms and digital services.

This role combines strong hands-on integration engineering expertise, architectural thinking and stakeholder management
. You will work closely with IT, data and business teams to understand requirements, assess existing environments and design and deliver robust, future-proof integration solutions.

You will work across technologies including Python, Java, SQL Server, FastAPI, Kafka, API management platforms such as Gravitee, and container platforms such as Open Shift
.

The role also encourages the pragmatic and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools and emerging AI integration approaches to improve productivity, accelerate delivery and enhance solution quality.

• Assess existing data and integration landscapes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement secure, scalable and maintainable integration solutions.
• Define integration patterns and approaches for synchronous, asynchronous and event-driven architectures.
• Contribute to the design of modern data platforms and data exchange mechanisms.
• Support the definition of target architectures, migration strategies and implementation roadmaps.
• Ensure that architecture and design decisions address security, regulatory, reliability and performance requirements
  , particularly in mission-critical environments.

• Design, develop and maintain integration services, APIs and data pipelines using technologies such as Python, Java and SQL/SQL Server
  .
• Design and develop APIs, including using frameworks such as FastAPI
  .
• Implement and support real-time data streaming and messaging solutions using Kafka
  .
• Configure, manage and optimise APIs using API Management Platforms, ideally Gravitee
  .
• Contribute to real-time and batch data exchange solutions as well as ETL/ELT processes and data transformation
  .
• Deploy, monitor and maintain integration components in containerised environments, particularly Open Shift and Kubernetes
  .
• Work with enterprise integration technologies such as Talend ESB, Apache Camel or equivalent platforms
  .
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, reliability and performance requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide technical guidance to project teams and less experienced colleagues.
• Contribute to the design, implementation and support of business-critical and mission-critical services
  .

• Gather, analyse and document functional and technical requirements with business and technical stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into actionable technical solutions and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional client teams to deliver scalable integration solutions.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, architecture diagrams, integration workflows and presentation materials.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Act as a bridge between business requirements, architecture and technical implementation

• Contribute to client assessments, technical recommendations and transformation initiatives.
• Advise clients on integration architecture, APIs, data exchange and modernization approaches.
• Promote best practices in integration, API management, data management and software engineering

• Support knowledge sharing and the development of reusable assets, integration patterns and methodologies.
