About the role
Autronica is now seeking a  Service Coordinator  to join our team in  Genoa, Italy  and become part of the Global Maritime & Energy Service Department. As a Service Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our global service operations - acting as a key connection point between our customers, service engineers, partners worldwide and internal teams and ensuring our customers receive world‑class support across the globe – in a 24 hours a day, 365 days a year setup.

This is a dynamic, fast‑paced role where no two days are the same. A unique opportunity to work in a truly international environment, contribute to safety‑critical operations, and play a vital role in delivering world‑class service excellence.

Your responsibilities as a Service Coordinator will be to:

Act as the primary customer contact within our 24/7 global service operations.

Coordinate service and commissioning requests across customers, shipyards, shipowners and internal teams.

Manage and track all cases in our CRM system Salesforce, ensuring efficient handling and follow‑up.

Assign requests to the right teams, engineers, and service partners.

Support smooth global operations through daily handovers and close internal collaboration.

Deliver high‑quality support, including dedicated care for key customers.

Plan and coordinate activities with our global service network.

Arrange travel, issue purchase orders, and support invoicing processes.

Act as a key link between service, sales, and project teams.

Take ownership to ensure seamless, high‑quality service delivery.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving environment and enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and excellent service to complex situations. As a successful Service Coordinator, you are highly organized, proactive, and solution‑oriented, with a strong customer focus and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence.

You are a natural communicator who builds trust easily and stays calm when handling urgent requests. Your teamwork mindset and ability to coordinate across cultures and time zones will make you stand out in this role.

Required qualifications

Previous experience in a similar coordination, customer service, or operational support role.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Financial and commercial understanding.

Experience working with ERP systems and sales/service tools such as Salesforce.

Preferred qualifications

Experience working in a global or international business environment.

Experience with in the Maritime and/or Oil & Gas/ Energy industry
