Mission
The selected candidate will join the Technical Discipline “ESG, Sustainability & Climate Risk” at RINA Consulting, contributing to international projects with a strong focus on energy efficiency, energy management, decarbonisation and climate risk assessment. The role is highly oriented toward technical delivery, supporting clients across industry, public sector and finance in improving energy performance, reducing emissions, and strengthening climate resilience of assets and operations.
Key Accountabilities
Deliver projects in energy efficiency, GHG accounting and decarbonisation.
Conduct energy audits, carbon footprint assessments and climate risk analyses.
Support development of climate adaptation and resilience strategies.
Contribute to R&D and EU‑funded projects (Horizon Europe) in ESG and climate domains.
Prepare technical proposals in sustainability, energy and climate‑related services.
Manage multiple projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality delivery.
Education
Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering or Engineering General.
MBA/Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Engineering.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering or similar.
At least 3 years of experience in energy efficiency, energy management, decarbonisation or climate‑related topics.
Proven experience in at least one of the following: energy audits / ISO 50001, GHG accounting / carbon footprint, climate risk, adaptation or resilience.
Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as GRI, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, SBTi.
EGE (Esperto in Gestione dell’Energia) certification is a strong plus.
Excellent command of English and Italian (C1); additional languages are a plus.
