Cloud Platform Operations Engineer – AWS

Experteer Overview In this role you will operate and maintain the Imaging & Informatics cloud platform to ensure high reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep production environments stable and scalable. You’ll deepen expertise in AWS operations, infrastructure-as-code, automation, and monitoring, driving efficiency improvements. You will provision and manage AWS resources, handle deployments, patches, and upgrades, and perform root cause analyses for critical incidents.

This is a hands‑on, impact‑driven position at Philips focused on reliable, scalable cloud platform operations.

Retribuzione / Benefits Operate day‑to‑day cloud platform and production environments for Imaging & Informatics Prepare, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services with high uptime

Collaborate with Cloud Operations Readiness Lead, product engineering, and service teams to ensure stability

Develop expertise in AWS operations, IaC (Terraform/Cloud Formation), automation, and monitoring to scale the platform

Provision and manage AWS infrastructure (configuration, scaling, patching, upgrades)
Monitor environments, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve incidents

Responsabilità5–10 years in cloud/platform operations

Strong hands‑on experience with AWS production environments and incident management

AWS services knowledge (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, monitoring)
Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform/Cloud Formation)
CI/CD pipelines Scripting (Python/Bash)
Production troubleshooting

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience

Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes Monitoring tools (Cloud Watch, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)
Automation mindset focusing on reliability and continuous improvement
