The Role
You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to bring knowledge from research to the market.
The Technology Transfer Directorate is coordinated by Lorenzo De Michieli, who has extensive experience in Intellectual Property, licensing, start-up, and technology transfer.
Your main responsibilities will be:

Active management of IIT’s patent portfolio
Designing strategies for the protection and exploitation of IIT’s Intellectual Property
Assessing patentability of IIT’s technologies
Securing intellectual property protection and exploitation in close collaboration with researchers, inventors, and attorneys
Assessing the economic value of IIT’s IP assets

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

A master’s degree in Medical Science, Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related fields
Documented experience in Intellectual Property, technology transfer and passion for intellectual capital strategy
Fluent command of spoken and written Italian and English
Proficiency with the main IT software packages, including Word and Excel
Ability to work independently, across multiple geographies, prioritize work and seamlessly pivot when necessary, in a highly interdisciplinary and multicultural environment
Team player with highly organized time management and problem-solving skills to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

A yearly gross salary up to 40.000,00 eurowhich may include a bonus option depending on your role and contract
