For one of our clients, owner of Italian flag cruise ships and operating worldwide, we are looking for passionate, dynamic and customer-oriented Shop Supervisor for high-end and luxury product.
What you will do onboard
As Shop Supervisor – Assistant Shop Manager, you will act as the right hand of the Shop Manager, supporting daily operations and contributing to the overall performance of the retail area.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Driving the business and ensuring sales and profit targets are met by reviewing sales performance and managing inventory;
Delivering customer service excellence across all aspects of the store (appearance, merchandising, product placement, layout and selling procedures);
Supporting the development of sales strategies through data analysis and regular feedback to the Sales Director and Shop Sales & Operations Manager;
Fostering a strong guest-centric mindset and building lasting guest relationships throughout the cruise;
Maintaining stock integrity, stock levels and replenishment processes;
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations;
Supervising visual merchandising, window displays, floor plans and promotional setups in line with brand guidelines;
Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, tidiness and operational efficiency within the store.
Key competences and qualitifications
Secondary school diploma with strong numeracy and literacy skills;
Minimum 5 years' proven experience in clothing retail sales (shipboard experience is a plus);
Highly competent in store procedures (sales reports, loss prevention, audits);
Excellent face-to-face customer service and sales skills, with strong communication and interpersonal abilities;
Confident in public speaking and team coordination;
Adaptable and able to work in a high-pressure environment;
English level B1 (Italian knowledge is an advantage);
A third language among French, Spanish or German at minimum B1 level preferred.

Onboard contract: 5 months (+/- 1 month)

STCW course
* reimbursement at the end of the first contract

* STCW is a mandatory safety training that must be completed before to embark. The course last approx. 10 days and it must be taken in presence in the same country of your passport
