Payroll and Accounting

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll & Monthly Accounting Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, deadlines, and accuracy, and who is comfortable handling both payroll and monthly accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with end-to-end payroll processing on a regular pay cycle
• Review and validate timecards, pay adjustments, deductions, and benefits
• Enter payroll data accurately and perform basic reconciliations
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries professionally and confidentially
• Support onboarding and offboarding payroll activities
• Statutory tasks including EMP
  201’s, EMP
  501, UIF registrations and de-registrations and Compensation Fund registrations and submissions
• Preparing monthly accounting records up to trial balance
• Processing journals, reconciliations, and monthly reports
• Assisting with VAT, EMP submissions, and general compliance
• Liaising with clients and internal teams where required

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in Accounting / Payroll (advantageous)
• Should be able to speak Afrikaans and English
• Strong sense of confidentiality and integrity
• Ability to meet strict deadlines consistently
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
