Our client, a reputable firm known for its professional work environment and commitment to excellence, is seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to support their expanding finance team. The ideal person will be someone who just finished their Clerkship and preferably already have their BCom Accounting Degree.

SalaryR20,000 - R30,000 per month (depending on experience)
Position TypeFull time
Duties- Compile financial statements and perform independent review processes
- Process invoices and bank transactions efficiently
- Reconcile bank accounts, debtors, and creditors
- Prepare and reconcile general ledger entries
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare year-to-date VAT reconciliations and manage VAT
201 returns - Handle SARS VAT reviews and audits
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the department
- Prepare management accounts to support business decisions
- Grade 12 qualification with experience in financial statement compilation
- Clerkship completed (non- negotiable)
- Bcom Accounting Degree (preferred)
- Not less than 3 years working experience
- Excellent computer literacy skills
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Previous experience working on Draftworx would be beneficial.
- Previous experience working on Sage Online, Sage Pastel and Xero (beneficial).
