Financial Accountant

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Financial Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience in an accounting practice environment will be advantageous.
• Previous supervisory or management experience will be beneficial but is not essential.
• Payroll processing and administration
• Preparation and compilation of financial statements
• General accounting and reporting functions
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in Case Ware.
• Experience working with Xero accounting software.

• Full-function bookkeeping
• Payroll processing and administration
• Preparation and compilation of financial statements
• General accounting and reporting functions
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in Case Ware.
• Experience working with Xero accounting software.

• Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple clients.
• Perform bookkeeping functions up to trial balance.
• Process payroll and related statutory submissions.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
• Compile financial statements and supporting working papers.
• Perform bank, creditor, debtor, and payroll reconciliations.
• Assist with client queries and provide professional service and support.
• Liaise with management and clients regarding financial information and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and statutory requirements.
