About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Architectural Drafter to join their established firm in George . This role is critical for producing precise and comprehensive technical drawings that form the backbone of our architectural projects. You will be responsible for translating design concepts into detailed construction documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to technical standards. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of drafting conventions, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

- Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and details using advanced CAD software.
- Collaborate closely with architects and project managers to ensure drawings accurately reflect design intent and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain a library of standard details and specifications to ensure consistency across projects in George .
- Perform quality control checks on all drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and construction administration support by providing necessary drawings and information.
- Stay updated with the latest drafting technologies and building information modeling (BIM) practices.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architectural Drafter, with a proven track record on diverse projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential; experience with ArchiCAD is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes specific to the Western Cape region.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all drafting work.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in 3D modeling and visualization is highly desirable.
