PTV Group South Africa seeks a visionary Smart Mobility Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of next-generation urban transport systems in George, South Africa. This role will integrate AI-driven traffic management, public transit optimization, and pedestrian mobility solutions to create smarter, more sustainable cities.

• Design and implement intelligent transport systems (ITS) using PTV Visum and Viswalk software
• Develop data-driven mobility models for urban traffic flow optimization
• Collaborate with municipal authorities on smart city infrastructure projects
• Conduct feasibility studies for public transport network redesigns
• Integrate real-time mobility data with IoT-enabled traffic management systems

• Expertise in transportation modeling and simulation software
• Strong analytical skills for traffic pattern analysis
• Knowledge of South African urban mobility challenges
• Proficiency in Python for mobility data analysis
• Excellent stakeholder communication and project management abilities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Transportation Technology
• Master’s Degree preferred in Smart Mobility or Urban Systems

• 3-5 years in urban mobility solutions development
• Proven track record in ITS implementation projects
• Experience with South African municipal transport systems
