About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead critical projects from their George facility. This senior role involves providing technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and driving innovation in mechanical system design and development. You will be responsible for overseeing complex engineering tasks, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project timelines, and contributing significantly to the company's strategic engineering objectives.

- Lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems and components.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to a team of mechanical engineers.

- Conduct in-depth analysis, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) , to validate designs.
- Develop and implement testing procedures for prototypes and final products.
- Liaise with stakeholders, suppliers, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on system design.
- Demonstrated experience in leading engineering projects and teams.
- Expertise in FEA software and advanced mechanical design principles.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials selection.
