Senior Site Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and highly competent Senior Site Engineer to join their esteemed team in George . This role is critical for ensuring the technical integrity and successful execution of various construction projects. You will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance, supervising site operations, and ensuring that all engineering aspects meet stringent quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and a passion for overseeing complex construction activities in the Western Cape . • Oversee and direct construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to engineering plans and specifications.
• Provide technical expertise and solutions to engineering challenges encountered during construction.
• Manage and mentor junior engineering staff and site supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site.
• Conduct quality control inspections and testing of materials and workmanship.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to resolve design and construction issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in site engineering and construction management.
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration with ECSA is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
