Graduate Civil Engineer - Road Design

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Civil Engineer to join their leading infrastructure development team based in George. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands‑on experience in the design and implementation of road and transportation projects. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers, contributing to the planning and development of essential transportation networks in the Western Cape.

• Assist in the design and development of road infrastructure projects, including geometric design and pavement analysis.
• Conduct site visits and data collection for project planning and assessment purposes.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation under supervision.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant national and provincial transportation standards and specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams and contribute to project meetings and discussions.

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• A strong academic record with a keen interest in transportation engineering.
• Familiarity with CAD software and basic understanding of road design principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
