Energy Efficiency Consultant

Our client is looking for a dedicated Energy Efficiency Consultant to join their growing team in
** George, Western Cape**. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by advising businesses on optimizing their energy consumption and reducing their environmental footprint. You will work with a diverse range of clients, identifying areas for improvement and recommending practical, cost-effective solutions. • Conduct comprehensive energy audits for commercial and industrial facilities.
• Analyze energy usage data to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop detailed reports and presentations outlining findings and recommending energy efficiency measures.
• Propose solutions such as retrofitting equipment, implementing smart technologies, and optimizing operational processes.
• Calculate potential energy savings, payback periods, and return on investment for proposed measures.
• Educate clients on energy conservation best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on the latest energy-efficient technologies, incentives, and policies.
• Collaborate with clients' engineering and facilities management teams to implement recommendations.
• Monitor the performance of implemented solutions and provide ongoing support.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental), Energy Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (at least 5 years) in energy auditing, consulting, or energy management.
• Strong understanding of building systems, HVAC, lighting, and industrial processes related to energy consumption.
• Proficiency in energy modeling software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret technical data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
• Client-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of local energy regulations and incentive programs is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the

  ** region.
