Industrial Engineer

Our client is looking for a diligent and innovative Industrial Engineer to join their operations in George . This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency and productivity of our client's manufacturing and operational systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing processes, systems, and equipment to achieve maximum efficiency and quality. The successful candidate will work closely with production teams to identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and ensure seamless integration of new technologies.

• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new production lines, equipment, and technologies.
• Create detailed process flow charts, operational procedures, and training materials.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of problems, and opportunities for optimization.
• Work collaboratively with shop floor personnel and management to foster a culture of continuous improvement in George .

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in an Industrial Engineering role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, value stream mapping, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Proficiency with CAD software and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
