- 3 year post matric qualification in finance / accounting or auditing plus 3 years relevant administrative experience in a financial management environment.

- Basic Financial System for Public Ordinary Schools.
- Treasury Guidelines:
- Preparation of Estimates for Medium Term Expenditure Framework.
- Budget Prescriptions promulgated in Provincial Gazette 6103 of 23 January 2004.
- Policy to Monitor the Financial Management Capability of all Public Ordinary Schools (Draft) 2016.
- Knowledge of modern systems of governance and administration.
- Knowledge of monitoring and reporting processes.
- Financial Administration. Analytical thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal Communications in at least two of the official languages in the Western Cape Province (reports and submissions).
- Motivational.
- Organisational and Planning.
- Numerical skills.
- Computer literacy. Presentation. Interpretation, analyse and conceptualise.
- Ability to gather and process information. Interpersonal skills.
