Junior IT Technician

We are seeking a motivated Junior IT Technician to join our team in George. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide excellent support to end-users. A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are essential, as traveling to client sites may be required.

Description:

• Provide technical support to users, both remotely and onsite.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
• Set up and support printers, desktops, laptops, and other peripherals.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
• Perform routine system checks and updates.
• Assist senior technicians with projects and onsite client support.

Requirements:

• Matric (IT-related certification or studies advantageous).
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and hardware.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (essential).
• Willingness to learn and grow within the IT field.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Advantages

• Any IT certificates (A+, N+, or similar).
• Previous IT support experience (even internship or entry-level).
