About the Role
Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives within their operations in George . This role is crucial for managing the implementation of new IT systems, software upgrades, and infrastructure projects that support business growth and efficiency. You will work closely with IT teams, vendors, and business units to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with strategic technology roadmaps.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of IT project life cycles and excels in managing cross-functional teams in a demanding, deadline-driven environment, contributing to technological innovation and operational excellence.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects , from initial concept through to deployment and post-implementation review.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery of IT solutions.
- Coordinate with software developers, network engineers, and system administrators to execute project tasks.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to all stakeholders, including senior management.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations for IT services and products.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management , preferably with experience in software development or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and network technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet critical deadlines.
