About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to lead critical IT projects from their George office. This role is central to driving the successful implementation of software development and infrastructure upgrades. You will be responsible for guiding project teams through the entire lifecycle using Agile methodologies, ensuring effective communication, and managing stakeholder expectations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to technological advancement in the Western Cape .
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage IT projects using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Develop detailed project roadmaps, manage backlogs, and prioritize tasks to meet project objectives.
- Facilitate communication between development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve impediments.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet client requirements and business goals.
- Track project performance metrics and provide regular status reports to senior management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management , with a strong emphasis on Agile methodologies.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in managing software development life cycles and infrastructure projects .
- Excellent understanding of Agile principles, practices, and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
