Our client is seeking a visionary Lead Data Scientist to spearhead their data initiatives in George . You will guide a team of data professionals, define data strategies, and develop cutting-edge models that directly impact business decisions and product development. Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of machine learning models and data mining algorithms.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accessibility for analytical purposes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Mentor and manage a team of data scientists and analysts, fostering their professional growth.
- Present complex findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data science or a related analytical role, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R, and expertise in relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch).
- Extensive experience with SQL and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and experimental design.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
