IT Project Manager, Scrum Master
Our client is seeking a dynamic Project Manager with a strong background in Agile methodologies to oversee project delivery in George. This role involves a hybrid work model, combining remote flexibility with essential on-site collaboration. You will be responsible for guiding software development teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and ensuring the successful and timely delivery of software projects. - Lead and coach Agile teams in adopting and improving Agile practices, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, identifying and mitigating risks and impediments.
- Collaborate closely with product owners to ensure the product backlog is well-defined and prioritized.
- Track and report on project progress, key performance indicators, and team velocity.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PMP or CSM certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager , with at least 3 years focused on Agile software development projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and facilitating communication across diverse groups.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively in both remote and on-site settings within a hybrid model.
