Facilities Cleaner

About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and diligent Facilities Cleaner to join their team in George . This role is fundamental to the upkeep of our client's premises, ensuring a pristine and welcoming atmosphere for all stakeholders. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of various areas within the facility, adhering to established sanitation standards and schedules. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to quality, contributing directly to the company's professional image and operational efficiency within the Western Cape .

• Conduct thorough cleaning of all assigned office spaces, including desks, chairs, and common areas.
• Ensure washrooms and sanitary facilities are kept clean, hygienic, and stocked with consumables.
• Clean and maintain kitchen areas, including countertops, sinks, and appliances.
• Collect and dispose of waste and recycling in designated areas, following environmental guidelines.
• Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing as required.
• Report any damages, maintenance needs, or security concerns observed during cleaning rounds.

• Previous experience as a cleaner or in a similar sanitation role is essential.
• Familiarity with standard cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality service.
• Must be punctual and dependable in attendance.
