Area Cleaning Supervisor

Our client is seeking an experienced Area Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of cleaning services within the George region. You will be responsible for managing a team of cleaning staff, ensuring adherence to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across multiple client sites. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

You will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and ensure our services consistently meet and exceed their expectations, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our sanitation operations in the Western Cape. • Supervise and direct the work of cleaning personnel, providing training and performance evaluations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to all sanitation protocols.
• Develop and manage cleaning schedules, ensuring efficient deployment of staff and resources.
• Address client concerns and feedback promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock and proper usage.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in the workplace.

• Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or in a similar management role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and workplace safety.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage a team effectively and foster a positive work environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the George area.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for scheduling and reporting.
