About the Role
Our client, a prominent player in the automotive sector located in George , is actively seeking a results-oriented Process Improvement Engineer . This role is integral to refining and enhancing manufacturing operations to meet stringent quality standards and production targets. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency gains through the application of advanced engineering methodologies. Key Responsibilities- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and potential safety hazards.
- Implement lean manufacturing tools and techniques such as 5S, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping.
- Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, work instructions, and performance metrics.
- Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on process performance to management.
- Facilitate training sessions for employees on new processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or operations management.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Six Sigma principles and tools (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in using statistical software and process simulation tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
