Key

Duties include:

Establish and maintain product standards and specifications for all raw materials, in-process products, and finished products.
Develop, implement, and maintain the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management System.
Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, sanitation, food safety, and beverage manufacturing requirements.
Coordinate, review, and update quality and food safety policies, procedures, SOPs and work instructions.
Ensure production records, quality-control documentation, and analytical data are timely, accurate and relevant to ensure the process maintains controls.
Oversee laboratory activities and ensure testing is performed according to approved methods.
Manage internal quality and food safety audits and maintain compliance with ISO 9001/FSSC 22000.
Promote a strong quality and food safety culture throughout the Company.
Establish, prepare, and manage the Quality Assurance department's annual operating and capital budgets in accordance with the Company’s objectives.

Qualification and/or

Experience:

Critical:

Master’s Degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field
More than 5-10 years’ experience in QA/QC within a food and beverage or other manufacturing industry
Experience supervising or leading a QA/QC team
Training or Certification in ISO 9001/FSSC 22000, or related standards.
