About the Role
Our client seeks a meticulous and experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector to ensure that all manufactured aerospace components and assemblies meet stringent quality standards. Based in George , you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and safety of aircraft parts through rigorous inspection processes. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of aerospace manufacturing and quality control protocols.

- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished aerospace products using precision measuring instruments.
- Verify that all manufactured parts conform to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Document inspection results accurately, identifying non-conformances and initiating corrective action procedures.
- Perform audits of manufacturing processes and quality systems to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Maintain calibration records for all inspection and testing equipment used in the George facility.
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in the aerospace or a related precision manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency with various inspection tools such as CMMs, micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., AS9100) and inspection techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in aerospace manufacturing.
