Sales Representative

An established supplier to the hardware retail industry is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales Representative to join its dynamic sales team. This role is ideal for a motivated graduate who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, travelling extensively, and identifying new business opportunities.

Previous sales experience is advantageous but not essential, making this an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with strong commercial acumen and a passion for sales.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing retail customers.
• Grow sales by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Manage customer accounts through regular visits and ongoing support.
• Provide product, sales, and promotional assistance to customers.
• Analyse customer performance and provide data-driven feedback.
• Work closely with contractors to identify project opportunities and convert them into sales.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to achieve business and personal growth objectives.

• BCom degree or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification (essential).
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify business opportunities.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home when required.
