Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site Mid‑level Fullstack Software Engineer role based in George. The engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using Type Script and Node.js across the stack, including APIs, server‑side logic, and front‑end features.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include implementing new functionality, refactoring existing code,and integrating with third‑party services. The role involves collaborating with other developers and stakeholders to understand requirements, estimate work, and deliver reliable, maintainable solutions. The engineer will participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to improving development processes, performance, and security.
Qualifications- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Practical experience with Back‑End Web Development using Node.js and related frameworks or libraries.
- Hands‑on Software Development experience building and maintaining production web applications.
- Experience with front‑end development (Specializes in Angular and or Svelte or similar frameworks), RESTful APIs, and integration with databases.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD practices, testing frameworks, and basic security best practices.
- Ability to work on‑site in George, collaborate in a small team environment, and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial; experience in building end‑to‑end solutions or working in multiple industries is a plus.
