Position: Code 14 Truck Driver (Crane & Drawbar Trailer experience)
Our client based in George is seeking an experienced and reliable Code 14 Truck Driver with proven crane operating and drawbar trailer experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation, loading, and offloading of goods while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company procedures.

Description:

• Safely operate heavy-duty trucks and drawbar trailers
• Operate truck-mounted crane for loading and offloading materials
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects
• Ensure cargo is secured correctly before transportation
• Adhere to delivery schedules and route requirements
• Complete all relevant delivery and transport documentation accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the vehicle
• Comply with all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Code 14 driver’s licence with valid PDP
• Minimum 5 years’ proven experience as a Code 14 Truck Driver
• Proven experience operating truck-mounted cranes
• Proven experience driving drawbar trailers
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and transport procedures
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Good communication skills
• Clear criminal record
• Contactable references
