Delivery Driver - Fleet Operations

Our client is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to manage fleet operations in the George area. This role involves the daily pick-up and delivery of goods, ensuring that all items are handled with care and transported efficiently. You will be responsible for representing our client professionally to customers and maintaining the company vehicle in optimal condition. You will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction through consistent and dependable delivery performance.

• Deliver products and materials to customers in a timely and safe manner using a company vehicle.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of all items.
• Verify customer orders and obtain signatures upon delivery.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
• Report any vehicle issues or delivery discrepancies to the fleet manager promptly.
• Navigate efficiently through designated routes in the George region.

• Valid driver's license (Code 8 or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role.
• Good knowledge of local roads and navigation systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
• Physical ability to lift and carry packages up to 25kg.
