About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Aircraft Dispatcher to manage flight operations from their hub in George . This role is crucial for ensuring the safety, regularity, and efficiency of flight schedules by planning and monitoring flights. You will work closely with flight crews, maintenance, and operations control to make informed decisions regarding flight routing, fuel requirements, weather considerations, and contingency planning.

This position demands excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of aviation regulations, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Develop and disseminate flight plans , considering weather, airspace restrictions, and operational requirements.
• Monitor flight progress in real-time, providing support and making necessary adjustments to plans due to changing conditions.
• Calculate and verify fuel requirements and ensure compliance with all weight and balance limitations.
• Liaise with air traffic control, station operations, and maintenance personnel to coordinate flight movements and resolve operational issues.
• Analyze meteorological data and forecasts to assess weather impacts on flight safety and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant aviation regulations and company policies.

• Valid Aircraft Dispatcher certification or equivalent qualifications recognized by aviation authorities.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in flight operations or dispatch.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, meteorology, and navigation principles.
• Proficiency in using flight planning software and communication systems.
• Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
