About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and dependable Commercial Truck Driver to join their established transport division in George . This position involves transporting goods between various depots and customer sites within the Western Cape . The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and maintaining the integrity of the cargo throughout the journey. You will be a key player in ensuring timely product distribution across the region.

• Operate heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
• Transport goods and materials to designated destinations according to strict schedules.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
• Adhere to all transportation regulations and company policies regarding safety and cargo handling.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation.
• Provide professional service to clients at delivery and pick-up points.

• Valid Code 14 driver's license with Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience driving commercial trucks.
• Proven track record of safe driving and adherence to regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including potential weekends and evenings.
• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and ability to perform basic troubleshooting.
• Good physical condition to handle loading and unloading tasks as required.
