Delivery Van Driver - Express Services

Our client is seeking an energetic and reliable Delivery Van Driver to join their express services division in George. This role is vital for ensuring prompt and secure delivery of parcels and documents to residential and commercial customers within the region. You will be the face of our client's company on the road, providing a positive and efficient customer experience with every interaction.

• Execute timely and accurate deliveries and collections of goods using a company van.
• Plan daily routes to ensure maximum efficiency and adherence to delivery schedules in the George area.
• Conduct daily inspections of the delivery vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or required maintenance.
• Provide courteous and professional service to all customers, ensuring satisfaction with delivery process.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and update tracking systems as required.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols, ensuring a safe driving record.

• Valid Code B or Code 10 driver's license.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with small to medium-sized vehicles.
• Familiarity with the George and surrounding Western Cape road network.
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability, with a commitment to punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under pressure.
• Good physical condition for handling packages of varying sizes and weights.
