This Management Analyst III position conducts studies to evaluate state operations, programs, and policies across a diverse range of complex management areas. The role analyzes data, interprets regulations, and makes recommendations for improving efficiency and effectiveness. The incumbent may supervise administrative support staff and can choose to be housed in one of three counties, as this is a statewide position.
Key qualifications:- Three years' experience conducting studies evaluating operations, programs, services, policies and procedures
- Three years' experience in descriptive statistics such as mean, median, mode or standard deviation
- Three years' experience interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures
- Six months' experience designing studies including determining goals, information needs, and data collection methods
- Six months' experience writing narrative reports
- Knowledge of inferential statistics such as correlation, t-tests, f-tests or analysis of variance
