SUN Behavioral Health Delaware is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Psychiatrist for a day shift role (no call, no weekends) in the historic town of Georgetown, DE.
This modern facility encompasses 99 beds and provides a supportive environment for both patients and staff. You will be part of a focused team consisting of 2 psychiatrists and 3 advanced practice providers, ensuring comprehensive psychiatric care. Engage with a varied patient population while utilizing Wellsky EMR for efficient management.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality inpatient psychiatric care to a daily average of 18 patients.
- Collaborate with a team of psychiatrists and support staff in a structured setting.
- Assess and treat patients with anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, eating disorders, and more.
- Apply familiarity with involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy in treatment planning.
- Participate in scheduled meetings and contribute to departmental objectives.
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Psychiatry (within 0-5 years of residency).
- Active Delaware medical license or willingness to obtain.
- Recent NPDB report (within 30 to 60 days active).
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
- CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start.
- BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
- Delaware Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
- Board Certification in Psychiatry.
- DEA License (must be obtained before starting).
- CSR/CDS Certification (must be obtained before starting).
- BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain).
