A Certified Medical Assistant assists physicians and nurses to meet the health care needs of patients.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must hold an active Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification.
• Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.
• Acute care experience preferred.

• Takes vital signs, height and weight.
• Assists with PPDs and EKGs.
• Draws blood.
• Measures and records intake and output.
• Assists with patient treatments such as dressing changes, decubitus ulcer care, and tracheostomy care.
• Adheres to Universal Precaution procedures and established Infection Control procedures.
• Schedules appointments.
• Adheres to safety and security policies and participates in disaster drills.
• Is proficient with CPR and receives re‑certification training annually.
• Assists in cleaning, sterilizing, and securing of equipment.
• Follows security regulations for keys, sharps, and controlled medications.

Full‑time and Part‑time opportunities. Days: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
