Restaurant General Manager – Georgetown

Pay:
Base $55,000–$64,000 per year (actual pay based on skills and experience).

Responsibilities
  • Overall leadership and direct supervision of restaurant operations to meet or exceed annual operating plan.
  • Drive excellence in customer service, maintain company standards in product and facility specifications.
  • Supervise food handling procedures and operational processes.
  • Exercise financial control to meet the restaurant profit margin targets.
  • Select, train, develop and motivate employees.
  • Hands‑on operational work as necessary (train employees, respond to customer service needs).
  • Track, analyze and resolve sources of customer complaints; ensure food safety standards.
  • Develop and drive restaurant annual operating plan, analyze sales, labor, inventory and controllables.
  • Train and mentor subordinates on financial analyses and profitability tips.
  • Develop store CAPEX requests and interface with vendors.
  • Ensure facilities and equipment maintained, monitor inventory and order fulfillment, establish service speed targets.
  • Oversee development of weekly management and crew schedules.
  • Direct restaurant-level HR activities: hiring decisions, learning zone planning, performance management.
  • Provide hands‑on training for management staff, develop shift managers and assistant general managers.
  • Manage employee relations and labor practices, ensure fair and equitable treatment.
  • Measure success via operating plan achievement, margin improvement, sales and labor performance, and staff development metrics.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Supervisory experience in food service or retail environment.
  • Ability to maintain financial controls and coach hourly employees.
  • Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee satisfaction.
Working Conditions
  • Work hours:

    10 hours per day, 5 days per week.
  • Environment 95% inside / 5% outside, ambient near ovens and stoves, noise normal.
